Makeup Transformation: Nod to Mod
Models like Twiggy and Patti Boyd pulled this look off in the 60's and it was reinvented by Anna to look fresh and modern with peachy cheeks and soft lips.
We thought that this would be a fun (and slightly crazy) look to try out, so we did it! What do you think of the results?
Tammy first applied the liner on her lashline and put a bit of a wing on it. Above this line she drew a line on her lid's crease. She decided to smudge this line out to create the effect of shadow and then went over the crease again to create a strong line. Tammy added a bit of a wing for greater effect.
Tammy used Annabelle Smudge Paint.
Jenni has on her signature wing tip liner on her lash line to open up and widen her eyes. Above her lash line but far below her eyebrow she added another line in a similar fashion. She made sure to follow her lashline's wing and she didn't attach her lines together at her tear duct but stopped about 1cm before.
Jenni used an Annabelle Smoothie Eyeliner in Licoriche and created harsher edges with her Bobbi Brown gel eyeliner.
Alexandra went far out with this look. She lined her eyes thickly on top as well as on her water line. She gave it a wing tip on the end and brought the lines together, past her tear duct in a point. Just above her crease line, she drew another thick line starting at her tear duct and making sure to arch the line in the middle. She brought it back all the way. copying her lash liner.
Alexandra used Annabelle Smooth Liner in Metal Daze.
What do you think of our avant garde look? Is it wearable or should we leave this one in the past? Leave a comment by September 5th and we will randomly choose one commenter to receive a prize! Good luck!

I Love it. I think they all look great and it is a fun look, but I don't think it would be appropiate for work.
LEAVE it in the past keep it in the past don't bring it in the present PLEASE!!

I think this is nice but I swear it would smudge on me with the weather we're having. also I can never get it straight or even on both eyes. Good for those who have the skills with a steady hand.
For a night out, this look is very wearable.
It looks good on all of you, but seeing as I can't draw symmetrical lines, I probably wouldn't try out this look. I might dabble a bit for special occasions though...
I think this is very wearable. If you have the right place to go. All the girls look totally cute but I think it would be a lot of fun to try Alexandra's look.
I choose Alexandra | |
I love the look, and I think it looks GREAT on Tammy |
