If someone asks me the question "What is the one make-up you cannot live without?" My answer is always- eyeliner. Eyeliner has been used for centuries to define the eyes and to create a variety of illusions. For instance, eyeliner makes your eyes pop and appear larger. Eyeliner had became an essential tool in a woman's life so we need to know which ones are worth spending our hard earned cash on! Below is a list of all the eyeliners that our chicks are recommending in no particular order.


1. Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner
"I was prone to using liquid liner or pencil based liners. As a contact eyes lens wearer, my eyes get dry and at time itchy. I often find myself rubbing my eye, or re-adjusting the contact lens. "I was browsing Chickadvisor for eyeliner suggestions, and the reviews for this particular product determined me to give it a try. "I looove this eyeliner! I got mine free on a tube of Revlon Mascara, and initially just tossed it aside as yet another black eyeliner. I was so wrong! This eyeliner is really smooth and applies with little to no effort at all. You can apply it any way (ie. thick, thin, smudged, on the waterline) and it will stay in place for hours. I can't say enough about how great this eyeliner is. Better yet, it's a twist up, so you don't have to fight to sharpen it. How many times have you ended up using a different eyeliner than the one you actually wanted because it wasn't sharpened ans you were in too much of a rush to be bothered to sharpen it? Exactly. Not an issue with these, and they a handy little sharpening tool hidden in the bottom of the tube to get that fresh out of the package tip." - Spoony

2. Rimmel London Soft Kohl Kajal Eye Pencil
"When it comes to pencil eyeliner this product is the best I have ever found. Even compared to brands like Estee Lauder, Rimmel beats them all hands down. The product is not as cheap as brands like NYC, however for the few extra dollars you get more than your moneys worth. It is easy sharpening. Goes on smooth and where you want it. It has minimal smudging (unless you purposely smudge it for effect), and very long lasting. The best eyeliner out there in my opinion. A good buy, good value. "What can I say? I LOVE Avon Glimmersticks Waterproof Eyeliner! I purchase this whenever it goes on sale- which is often with Avon, and it's the only eyeliner I buy. I have it in black, plum, gray and dark blue with the basic black being my fave. It is truly waterproof and has great staying power. You turn the product up which means NO messy sharpening.

5. Stila Smudge Pots
"These smudge pots really do what they're supposed to do! I have this in Bronze and it is a gorgeous color! The packaging is nice and although the price paid is quite high, you actually do get a lot of product which lasts you for quite some time. I have been using this as my eyeliner for a long time and I found that it was super easy to apply with a small angled brush. The product literally lasts all day and even if you do a bit of rubbing, it doesn't move until you take it off with makeup remover. You can also use this product as a base for your eyeshadows to make it stay and last longer. Overall, I LOVE this product and would highly recommend it!" - xagnes
