Men's Wedding Style Guide

I once heard, and I myself have said this before, that for women, a well cut suit on a man is the equivalent of lingerie on a woman for men. If that's the case, then where the heck have all the dapper men gone? Seriously, can we bring back pocket squares, cufflinks and fedoras that don't look awful?

Now, here is a man who knows how to wear a suit!

On my mission to resurrect the long lost stylish and sophisticated gentleman, I think the first issue to tackle is formal wear. Men (and ladies too), take note. There are very few occasions in life where denim is acceptable at a formal event. With that in mind, we're going to be looking at one of the more common formal events. It's an event that I am sure many of you will be attending (along with that guy of your's) this summer: the wedding.

Of course, no two weddings are alike. To compliment the wedding theme, we have four suited looks to give you and your guy some stylspiration for any type of wedding you might be attending.

When my brothers got married back in the late seventies and early
eighties they both wore all white. At the time it seemed to work, but
now when I look back at the pic's they look a little funny to me. I
won't tell them that, but I always smile at their wedding pic's hanging
on their walls when I'm at their homes. It's funny how things come and
go like that, I'm just happy I didn't see it here.LOL

I agree with you on all counts above, except fedoras, they only look good on a select few. And I like the set you made for the rustic wedding, maybe it's because I am a sucker for mismatched suits. Anyway, I think guys might be starting to get a hint, what with girls swooning over Don Draper and Ryan Gosling *fingers crossed*
