Microwave Apple Almond Dessert

How delicious does this look?

I found this recipe online and it looked too tasty to keep to myself. Because it's made in the microwave, it only takes minutes to make.

Ingredients:
• About 2/3 cup chopped apple
• Sugar-free syrup (try Da Vinci’s caramel)
• About half a teaspoon of cinnamon
• About 3 Tablespoons almond meal
• About a teaspoon of butter
• Toppings of your choice. I liked chopped walnuts, pecans, raisins, cranberries

Preparation:
Place the chopped apple in a microwave-safe bowl. Sprinkle the cinnamon on top and pour the syrup over the top to about half an inch. Cover and microwave 1½ minutes. Then sprinkle the almond meal on top and add your toppings. Dot with butter and microwave uncovered for 1½ minutes.

Serve alone or try it with yogurt, ice cream, or whipped cream!
