It all started off as a Harry Potter-esque smudge descending from just left of my widow's peak. Being the middle of summer, I blamed it on a sloppy application of facial sunscreen resulting in a unique sunburn. A little BB cream was more than sufficient to cover it up at first.

After a while, my distinctive lightning bolt became more pronounced and I started to see a few new darkish spots emerging. I also noticed some overall dullness in my skin tone, forcing me to accept once and for all that skincare intervention would be necessary to maintain my 20-something (okay, 30-something) appearance. My BB cream is now supplemented with careful dabs of concealer, but what I really want is to reduce the colouration of these dark spots so that I don't feel self-conscious with a bare face. Laser treatments are a little out of my budget at the moment, so I've been considering a cream product to see if that will make a difference.
