Elle and Dakota Fanning are well on their way to becoming serious fashion icons if they keep this behaviour up! At the Rodarte Spring 2012 show at New York Fashion Week, the Fanning sisters were visions in creams, gold and lace. The outfits showed maturity, creativity and a love for fashion that impressed and pleasantly surprised.



Dakota went with a lace dress that layered asymmetrically for a modern twist. She styled it with a pair of wrap around, lace-up shoes with a pointy toe detail that are very young but fashion forward. She kept the palette neutral in off-whites to play up her natural porcelain skin and with minimal make up, she is beautiful and fresh faced! 

Elle opted for a more detailed, extravagant design. She wore a deep V, Vulcan-esque printed jumpsuit. She was more daring than her sister but I applaud her style risk! The jumpsuit is flattering on her petite frame and the cigarette pant length looks fabulous.
