To my dismay, Old Navy just had to ship this adorable coat to the office right in the middle of Toronto's on-again, off-again snowfalls. Though it looks warm, its wool and cotton blend is actually quite light, hence the timing disappointment. It most likely won't be suitable to wear until April, which feels like a very long month away!


The double-breasted style of this coat with the gold buttons are right up my alley. As a huge fan of red, I give Old Navy my props for the colour.


That said, it feels like more of an autumn than a spring hue, and I think I will get a better use of it come September. Luckily, you can find some more spring-appropriate options in Old Navy stores now.
