One Trend, 2 Ways Pose Off: White Lace

This week, Mandy and I decided to play twinsies. We're both posing off in the same trend: white lace. Only we've each done it in a different way. Now, if you've been on the site for even two minutes, you've probably figured out that Mandy and I don't exactly look alike. While Mandy is on the petite side, I am much taller and curvier. We wanted to show you how everyone can wear a trend, you just need to figure out what works best for you and your body. So, let's get started, shall we?
Mandy

Mandy is wearing Talula lace shorts from Aritzia. They're fairly high waisted and they're cut in a running shorts style. They're comfy but still trendy which keeps her looking cool and chic. She usually styles it with a plain solid coloured tee to keep the interest focused on the lower part of her outfit.
Alexandra

I am wearing a thrifted white lace pencil skirt that flares out in a trumpet style at my knee. I like this a lot because it's very flattering on my curves. I pair it with blouses and heels in cooler weather for a more formal look or just a plain cotton tee and ballet flats in summer for a more casual look.

![]() | I like both but Alex's skirt is more my style. It's ultra feminine and you could practically wear it for a casual look and for a formal look. |
