If you resolved this year to live a greener lifestyle, that should include your beauty routine. Products with more natural and organic ingredients are not only better for your body's largest organ, but the environment as well.

Though it's still fairly difficult to find a good selection of reasonably accessible organic and all natural makeup, more than ever companies are creating organic beauty products that are better for you and the environment. Many of these can be found online in Canada and the USA. We rooted through your reviews and companies we've been introduced to, to compile a list of companies that are making the search for healthier greener products easier. Lush products are nice, but some contain SLS and that bothers me....Their massage bars are fantastic and they don't have SLS, also their Buffy works fantastically and is pure. I guess you just have to be vigilant with ingredient lists.

I love their vanilla bean line because I have horrible allergies and it allows me to avoid the flowery components that seem to make up most organic body products. Not only are they organic, but their workers are paid a fair wage. I figure if I'm going to rub something all over my body every day (scrub or body wash), it should not be filled with chemicals.

I started using Burt's Bees theraputic lotion in orange honey and my skin started changing. After shaving my legs are always ashy, and I would throw on lotion to get my day started. Of course lotion would make my skin break out in red bumps and that would look really attractive! I switched to Bert's Bees and I don't have that problem anymore. I am not a scientist, but I think since the product is organic, it is more sensitive on my skin. I love it, and I am never going back!
