Pantone 2012 Colour Trend: Tangerine Tango in Nail Art

Pantone recently announced their colour of 2012, a vibrant shade of orange called Tangerine Tango- it's bright, bold and so cheerful it almost makes us think it's summer outside! We saw this colour on the Spring 2012 runways in makeup, fashion and of course, nails!

So while not everyone may be able to afford the Spring Jason Wu line, we can easily recreate the nail art. It's official- we've gone bananas over tangerine!

We tried out the tangerine trend using a Half Moon Manicure (on index finger), Stripes (on thumb and middle finger) and Glitter (on ring finger).

In this demo, we used Sally Hansen Complete Manicure in Kook-A-Mango, Sally Hansen Hard As Nails in Terracotta, Wet N' Wild Wild Shine in Blazed, O.P.I. Sephora in Lost Without My GPS, Natural Environ-Mint and I Don't Bite, O.P.I. in Rainbow Connection and Essie in Cocktail Bling

We also recommend trying out an ombre design, rhinestone nail art, V Gap Mani or even using a Konad stamp set to create something unique!
