Last week at LG Fashion Week in Toronto we spotted plenty of rolled cuffs on boys, often with a statement sock (yes, we are going to call jazzy, attention grabbing socks worn by boys this) and a soft leather shoe. These ladies may not be rocking the statement sock with their rolled cuffs, but they're definitely saying something.


This is an exercise in contrasts. From a contrast of colour (the shoes, the pants pockets) to a contrast in texture (the mesh of the shirt with the fur of the wrap collar)—her mix of pieces creates a mix of feminine and masculine with a hint of quirk.


There's nothing masculine about this look. From the soft hues and relaxed shapes to the simple accessories, we feel as though we should have shot this stylish beauty with a soft filter and cut her out and pasted her in a Paris street or field of flowers, though with the cute peep toes she might have a hard time on soft ground—Paris it is!
