Posing Wall: Meet Rachel
Hello/bonjour/good 'aye chicks!
My name is Rachel and I’m thrilled to jump on board with the ChickAdvisor team as the new marketing intern!
I recently got back from Australia where I finished my degree in the study abroad program through Concordia University where I obtained my B.A in Communication Studies. I graduated with a specialization in video production with a minor in marketing and theatre studies. Identity crisis or well rounded? You decide.
I like to think I bring some height to the family at ChickAdvisor (being 5’11” and all). Unfortunately I don’t take advantage of it from an athletic standpoint, but I will gladly help you get your chocolate stash from the top shelf in the cupboard.
Being a former spin instructor, I am big into health and fitness. Though I will shamelessly admit that I take the elevator instead of the stairs when going to the office – 'cause who likes to arrive a hot mess, right?
My six months abroad in Australia kick-started my itch to travel. I love meeting new people from all over, not knowing what will happen from day to day, and finding ways to release my adventurous and spontaneous side.
I am often strumming a tune on the guitar or singing in the shower. I love checking out new local music and attending open mic nights. Know of any in your area? Let me know! Itchin’ for some amateur tunes? I've got it covered, check it out here.
Zesty little fact about me: I’m a twin! And no, we do not have telepathic abilities.
I’m excited to see what’s to come in these next few months at ChickAdvisor. It’s been a pleasure to work with such passionate and hard working individuals thus far!
