Hello everyone! My name is Renee, and I am super excited to join the ChickAdvisor team as an Editorial Intern!

I can't wait to get to know all of you chicks, so to start off here are five little things about me:

1) Chocolate Chip Banana Muffins

When I was younger I loved helping my mother bake (extra points if I got to lick the beaters). Now that I’m grown up, it’s a skill I’m so grateful to have. Nothing says I love you, I’m sorry, or let's be best friends, like freshly baked Chocolate Chip Banana muffins.

2) Poetry

Being an avid reader is an English Major requirement, but I have a particular soft spot for poetry. Two of my absolute favourite writers are Leonard Cohen and Sylvia Plath, classics.

3) Travelling

I love to travel and have been very lucky to visit France, Austria, and Italy. Last summer I spent a month in Spain, completing a study abroad program. The Spanish diet of bread (and more bread. . . so much bread), cheese, and red wine - won my heart ten fold.

4) Queen's University

I am a recent graduate of Queen’s University. After four years and a lot of reading and writing, I received a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) Degree with a concentration in English Language and Literature.

5) Perfume

I have quite the perfume collection going. Admittedly, I am a sucker for beautiful perfume bottles. Lately, I have been wearing ‘Miss Dior'.

So tell me, are there any other word-nerds out there? Travel buffs? Perfume addicts? I'd love to hear from all of you Chicks!
