Product Review Club: L’Oréal Professionnel Intense Repair Shampoo & Masque

Posted by ChickAdvisor Team | Monday January 2, 201241 comments

Winter is a season of opposites, isn’t it?  The crystalline sparkle of fresh snow vs. the muted glow of warm fires; a warm flush in your cheeks vs. chapped fingers and dry cuticles; or your annual migration to the ski slopes vs. an island paradise… it’s no wonder we have such mixed feelings about this time of year.

One thing that is frustratingly consistent is the stress extreme temperatures and other environmental factors will put on our hair. Really, this new Product Review Club offer couldn’t be more timely.

L’Oréal Professionnel is coming to the rescue with its new Intense Repair Shampoo and Intense Repair Hair Masque designed to revitalize and hydrate natural, dry hair sensitized by everyday environmental stressors.

The “Cuti Liss” technology utilizes activated wheat proteins, bio-mimetic ceramide, Vitamin B6, and UV filters to replenish, smooth, and strengthen the hair cuticle while protecting against UV damage. The result is hydrated, nourished, and shiny hair full of body, texture, and volume.

Are you ready for a winter hair fix? L’Oréal Professionnel is going to give 200 of our Canadian Product Review Club members an opportunity to try Intense Repair Shampoo and Hair Masque for themselves! If you are interested in participating in this testing opportunity, click on over and fill out our brief qualification survey. We will notify the selectees during the week of January 16 (2012) by email.

I would love to try this I have recently been looking for a hair mask and items like that but have been unsure what to try and this would be an amazing oppurtunity.

@carrielovesfashion: this product is specifically designed for dry, natural hair, though I'm sure it would be beneficial to heat-, chemical- and colour-stressed hair as well.

My hair is not curly, but I have a strong natural wave and find that intense hydration products are really helpful for my hair. My absolute top tip (in addition to the right care products) is to wash & condition your hair in cold (or at least room temperature) water instead of hot - eliminates a lot of frizz! I can only do this because my shower has a detachable hand held part so I can keep the frigid spray away from my body (I wash my hair upside-down. Uncomfortable but works wonders)

I wonder if these products are good for dry, damaged, naturally curly hair. I would love to be chosen to try these and I can't wait to see the reviews from all those who do get lucky enough to try this! :)
