You're in a room with James Bond and Edward Cullen. Who do you choose? One the one hand, one of them sparkles, which is kind of cool. On the other hand, Bond could make a martini, which is awesome. Life is full of tough decisions. 

This Gratuitous hottie face off is pitting two British babes together- Daniel Craig and Robert Patterson. However, it also has the added benefit of comparing the silver foxness of Daniel Craig against the nubile young body of Robert Pattinson. Who will come out on top in the battle of age and beauty? 

Round 1: Who's the better 'superhero'?
Let me preface this by saying that yes, I know, technically neither James Bond nor Edward Cullen are 'superheros' but you get the idea...


Daniel Craig: Has the cool gadgets and cars. Fights crime in a tuxedo. Then mixes a drink and makes out with a lady. I guess you could say his superpower is 'awesomeness'.

Robert Pattinson: As a vampire, Edward Cullen's super powers are similar to that of a flying monkey. He can climb and jump super high and fast. Has the added benefit of being glitterly- just think, no need to invest in a trendy glitter piece, simply bring your new boyfriend! 

Winner: It is pretty obvious I have a certain contempt for vampires, but I will try to be as objective as possible for the rest of this. In terms of super powers though, Bond will clearly always win because of his suave boss skills. 

Round 2: Who's the better boyfriend? 

Daniel Craig: As Bond, let's face it- he'd suck. As Britney would say, he's a womanizer. As Craig himself, he'd be pretty adorable and sweet I think. Lots of cuddling and a home cooked meal might occur. 

Robert Pattinson: As Cullen, let's face it- he'd suck...your blood. And I'm not into that. I think I'd like Cedric Diggory (circa his Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire years...) to be my bf. He was so nice and athletic and smart... all around hottie. 

Winner: It's a tie. I think both Brits deserve to win this title and I refuse to choose one over the other. Unless of course they want to have tie breaker round where they both serve me breakfast in bed- I may be persuaded to judge that round.

Round 3: Better Hair?
 
Daniel Craig: Does a good job with what he's got... although, let's come to terms with it ladies, he doesn't have a lot. Not voluminous or full- I sense the beginning of a receding hair line and it's too short in general!    

Robert Pattinson: Notorious for his unkempt dirty look, Pattinson is the epitome of hobo chic. 

Winner: When no showering and receding hairlines takes place, no one is a winner. 

Round 4: Better Bod?

Daniel Craig: Oh my- look at the beach jogging. He's all muscle and bulk- his arms are a very impressive size if I don't say so, myself! 

Robert Pattinson: A bit on the weedy side. Too much jumping around and not enough time on the quidditch course. 

Winner: Goes to Craig of course! Take another glance at the speedo pic- do it. Yup- clear winner. 

Championship goes too.... Daniel Craig! Daniel has the uncanny ability to be sensitive, sweet and tough as nails at all the same time. He'd fight the bad guys then come home to you and make you brownies then feed them to you in bed.... too far? In any case, he rocks a speedo- awesome.
