Build your garden, rebuild a life - this is the message RONA wants you to hear starting March 8, 2010, the 99th anniversary of International Women's Day.

The Canadian home & renovation giant RONA has partnered with the Canadian Women's Foundation (CWF) and Canadian Assoc. of Women in Construction (CAWIC) to help female victims of domestic violence and their children.

According to CWF president Beverly Wybrow, nearly 100,000 women and children seek refuge in shelters every year in Canada.

All funds collected between March 8 and April 4, 2010 will go towards the labour and materials needed to renovate such shelters across Canada.
