If you’ve been following @MarcJacobsInt on Twitter, then you know that Robert Duffy, Marc Jacobs’s business partner, likes to overshare.

He recently tweeted “Listen, we are in the very beginning stages of talking to a partner about plus sizes. Relax, it won’t be based on the collection line.”

Duffy’s informal announcement has a lot of people excited that Marc Jacobs could be the first major fashion house to offer a luxury clothing line to women larger than size 16. As Duffy said, they are only in the beginning stages, so we won’t see this line for at least a year.

We would suggest following Duffy’s tweets if you want to get the inside scoop because this isn’t his only slip-up. A few days after exposing the plus-size line, Duffy tweeted “Yea. I guess I broke the news on twitter that we were going to have our first Marc Jacobs Mens Collection show in Milan. I'm oversharing.”
