Ryan Reynolds vs. Ryan Gosling in: Gratuitous Hottie Face Off

We started a discussion of Ryan Reynolds vs. Ryan Gosling on Twitter a few weeks ago and were surprised at the response- people have strong opinions on the Ryans! So we thought we’d pit Ryan G. and Ryan R. against each other in a shirtless gladiator style fight to the death.

Wait- that was a dream I had.

Anyway, this week in Gratuitous Hottie Face Off we will be judging each Ryan in three categories and deciding our winner in the final, fourth category of ‘Awesomeness’. Ring the bell and get ready for Round 1!

Round 1: Best Beard

Ryan Gosling (left): Wears it well, very well. *rawrrr*

Ryan Reynolds (right): Nice… wears it a little thicker sometimes though.

Goes to: Ryan G. for his effortlessly sexy scruff.

Round 2: Who wears the better tux?

Ryan Gosling (right): Very dapper but lacks the confidence to truly work it.

Ryan Reynolds (left): Cheeky smile pulls off the look, I hope he is holding a bouquet of roses and some champagne as well (for me).

Goes to: Ryan R. because his sexy smirk says: “ya, I guess I look prettyyyy good.”

Round 3: Better Bod

Ryan Gosling (left): As Emma Stone puts it in ‘Crazy, Stupid, Love’, it almost looks like his perfectly sculpted abs have been photo shopped.

Ryan Reynolds (right): Really beefcaked it up for Amityville Horror and apparently kept it up because you could fry an egg on that bod it’s so hot.

Goes to: Ryan R... obviously

Round 4: Awesomeness

Ryan Gosling (left): He was recently caught breaking up a fist fight in New York City- that’s like undercover Superhero stuff! Watch the video here.

Ryan Reynolds (right): In 2010 was part of the best looking couple in the world. No kidding- he was named Sexiest Man Alive by People and his wife at the time, Scarlett Johansson, was named Babe of the Year by GQ Magazine.

Goes to: Ryan G,, because while being really, really, ridiculously good looking is cool and all, dude broke up a fight and violence is never cool.
