I love my kids. LOVE THEM. I love them so much, I gladly open my wallet to send one kid to basketball overnight camp, one kid to soccer day camp, and the third to drop-in classes at the local art gallery. They'll go with the grandparents to the cabin for a few days, and (much to their chagrin) complete a level of week-long intensive swimming lessons.
Yes, I love my children the most when they are off their electronics and not pestering me about being bored. This summer will be no exception especially with the child fitness tax program set to expire next year (*sob). Now begins the task of inspecting sleeping bags, upsizing sports gear, and replacing insulated lunch bags which altogether seems more expensive than the camp fees themselves, but remember - it's all for love.
I will love them even more if they manage to bring home all of their expensive gear, which is where Mabel's Labels comes in. Yes, you've heard about Mabel's Labels and maybe you're on the fence about whether they really are better than the ol' Sharpie trick. My answer to that is a resounding YES.
Let's be clear: labeling your child's clothes and gear will in no way make them actually REMEMBER to repack everything. However, I guarantee your child's camp counselor is eager to empty the Lost & Found bin and will track you down before you leave the premises at the end of the week.
Mabel's Labels was founded by four Canadian moms, so they understand this frustration first-hand! Their customizable labels are extremely durable, laundry-, dishwasher-, and microwave-safe, UV-resistant, and waterproof. For the 2016 summer season, they've introduced two new cool collections and we've got a special offer to go with them!
