Who among us is not conflicted about socially acceptable waistlines? A great discussion piece from Fabulously Broke in the City... As a society, we seem to be extremely obsessed with the flatness of stomachs. Everywhere we go, every page we turn, is covered with models who look like they haven’t eaten in days with concave or incredibly flat tummies that just aren’t natural. Those flat tummies didn’t appear overnight. The minute we hit puberty, our breasts grew, our hips grew, our butts filled out and our tummies got a bit of a natural curve to them.
