Spring Must-have: The Trench Coat
Trench coats have long been a wardrobe staple, and this season is no exception.
Burberry brings the Glam with patterned and textured trenches accented with bold belts.
Alberta Ferretti and Yves St Laurent both featured simpler buttonless designs.
Since buying an embellished trench could limit your choices down the road, we suggest starting with a clean basic and adding your own touches. Here are a few options we saw:

The Michael Kors is amazing bought it in Vegas a yr ago in white!
I adore trench coats! But it really is a challenge to find a great one for cheap. The one from Gap looks nice though.
I like the red one and the last ones (under $300 best). Trenches should have a good structure to them or they can look sloppy like that Alloy one in the top graphic (middle).
I love the Burberry trenches. I'm loving the small detail of the Tiffany's blue with the neutral palette of the trench!
The Michael Kors is by far by favourite! I'm going to steal the idea from Burberry and add a bright belt to the look.
Love the Burberry trenches! Wish I could afford one. Since I can't I'd probably pick a really classic look like one of the last three ("under $300") |
