Staff Picks: Alexandra's Favourite Spring Beauty, Food and DIY Products
As many of you chicks know, when you come across a product that you really love, all you want to do is share that product with as many people as possible! I've had a few favourite products over the past little while and I've been making a list in my head so I could share them all with you. These are my picks for spring in food, beauty and DIY!
1. President's Choice Greek Yogurt (C$3.99) is creamy, tangy and, here's the best part, ridiculously healthy! Greek yogurts are high in protein (this one contains about 13g per serving) and have little to no fat. I like to buy the plain, 0% greek yogurt which also has very little sugar. I add my own honey and fruit and it makes for a filling and delicious snack.
2. Doc Marten 1460 Floral Boots (US$130.00) are my shoe obsession of the moment. I have two pairs of Doc Martens already but these floral ones are so perfect for spring, so I feel like I pretty much need to buy them.
3. Tea Tree Oil (US$18.64) is fast becoming my go to for any beauty DIY project I have. You can find tea tree oil at your local drugstore or health food store and I seriously suggest buying a bottle. It's a bit pricey, considering the size but it's antibacterial properties are a saviour for when my skin is inflammed or I have a blemish. I use this in toners, scrubs or diluted as spot treatment for acne.
4. Neutrogena Ageless Intensives Tone Correcting Daily Moisturizer (US$18.99) promises to even out your skin tone and diminish the look of dark spots. I'm big on prevention so I've been using this product every day. What I really love about this moisturizer is that it contains an SPF30, which is important for your health and surprisingly difficult to find in an every day moisturizer.
5. John Frieda Precision Foam Colour (C$13.00) is a new hair colour product and I must say, I'm not a hair dye person but I could definitely become one with this product in my bathroom cabinet. I love the non drip foam because it has amazing coverage, gives you even colour and you get so much product in just one bottle (ladies with long hair, no worries about doubling up on your purchase!).
6. Revlon ColorStay Makeup (C$17.49) is comparable to a high end foundation in my opinion and anything that gives great quality while saving me some money is o.k. by me! It's very pigmented, long lasting while still looking lightweight.
So tell me chicks, what are your favourite products this spring?

I absolutely agree with you about Revlon ColourStay foundation. I usually purchase MAC foundation, but when I ran out of it, I picked up the Revlon ColourStay and was quite surprised with it. I found it to be very creamy, had a nice colour and it didn`t irritate my skin. I still purchase MAC, but use the Revlon just as much. The two products are very similar.
It's so funny- everyone I talk to lately is just as obsessed with greek yogurt as I am!!! My friend turned me onto it, I had never had it before and I was smitten the first time I tried it. I eat it pretty much everyday now!
I have been really obsessed with Greek yogurt lately.I have been really into making Mango Lime Lassi with it,mango chunks, yogurt, orange juice, honey, fresh lime juice and puree all till smooth so yummy.I also love it plain or with fruit through it,I also like to make Tzatziki sauce out of it.Its also great for facial masks.I also would never be without tea tree oil its so multi use and treats so many ailments.
Love Greek yogurt! I also buy plain and mix in my own things. Right now I love mixing in strawberries with my own granola that I have been making like crazy. I am so obsessed!

Awesome picks! I love Greek yogurt because it is so versatile and healthy. I love getting plain Greek yogurt and using it as a sour cream substitute because it is much less fattening.
I love the PC greek yogurt and love that it's great for you! I'm trying the mango one myself this morning!
@Charmheart16 I have combination skin as well and I'm liking this so far, it's not greasy and lightweight so it works for my oily skin, but I tend to get very dry patches sometimes and this isn't heavy enough to moisturize those areas so I need to layer up. I just wrote my full review too: http://www.chickadvisor.com/item/neutrogena-ageless-intensives-tone-correcting-daily-moisturizer/?rid=44899#R44899
