If you are a budgeting bumpkin, here's some suggested reading from Fabulously Broke in the City... I can't remember which blog on my blogroll I was reading, but they mentioned that Dave Ramsey has a section up that will automatically calculate a budget for you that you can print out. It also incorporates in the percentages that are 'suggested' and if you put in too much for debt (for example), it turns red to let you know that it's over the 'limit'.
