Summer Swim Trends: Girlie Ruffled Swimsuits
Pretty ruffles on bikinis and bathers can take a simple suit and make it flirty and ultra-feminine. Look for tops with ruffles all over the bust to add volume, or opt in for a more delicate ruffle trim if you don't need any help up top. Sweet ruffles around the hips can draw the eye away from spots you aren't completely happy about, but really, try not to get caught in a swimsuit self-conscious downward spiral, and get out and enjoy the sun!

Oh I adore that plum Anthropologie suit (bottom left)! I quite like the look overall, but would prefer ruffles on top and plain on the bottom (don't want to add any more volume to the caboose). | |
Whenever I see ruffle swimsuits in the stores I never know how I feel about them. Looking at them here they are actually nice looking. I especially like the red Jantzen Heritage Ruffled Bikini Top and bottom. |
