Summer Trend To Try: New Minimalism
My signature style is a little out of the box, some quirkiness thrown in, and I like to experiment too.
But now I must confess I've defected lately. I can't get enough of simple, clean lines and little to no embellishments. Black and white colour blocking with interesting cuts are taking place of my usual patterns and bold colours.
This summer, I am all about the new minimalism:

Think blacks, whites and maybe a small pop of colour. Instead of signature pieces being over the top, look instead for small details that make a piece extra special.
Love the elegance of minimalism? Incorporate these pieces into your summer wardrobe:
1. J Crew Apron Dress in Eyelet (US$188.00)
2. J Crew Collection Cafe Capri in Organza (US$198.00)
3. Zara Mid- Heel Sandals (C$59.90)
4. Zara Leather Sandals (C$79.90)
5. Forever 21 Essential Buttoned Shift Dress (C$27.80)
6. Banana Republic Silk Henley (C$95.00)
7. Anthropologie Silm Striped Linen Pullover (US$58.00)
8. Victoria Beckham Canvas and Leather Shopper (US$1,495.00)

I do not like any of the looks shown in the fashion pictures but the peices shown are really nice....except for the capri... not a big fan
I think it's a little too New York for me, and also probably a little to polish. And yes, I do know my teenager-ness is showing.
I need to try this. I have a problem with over accesorizing, especially with jewelery. Maybe removing one piece from my wardrobe at a time will help me minimalize my looks.
I am also loving the minimalist look! Love white paired with nude shoes for summer
