Toronto photographer Steve Carty's tweet caught my eye this morning:
Are you in Toronto with a cool personal #moleskin book you can't live without? msg me. I want to take your picture.

With the automated reminders Google Calendar and the all-in-one convenience of BlackBerry and iPhone planners, why does anyone still bother with the old-fashioned pen and paper agenda?
Here are some of the reasons I like mine:
- the tactile quality of writing these down rather than typing them
- the ability to write down "to-do" lists and physically cross out my "done items" (it's just not the same when the computer does it for me)
- being able to store all my lists and appointments within the confines of its cute cover that I just can't stop looking at!
