The Latest Homage to McQueen is in Nail Polish

Seems like we don't go a single week without reminders of the legendary Alexander McQueen.  The latest homage to the American fashion designer gives a nod to two of his most memorable shows.

All Hail McQueen, Bumster

Butter London's Fall 2010 collection is in tune with the prevailing seasonal colour trends, but their evocative names lend a bittersweetness to their hues.

"All Hail McQueen" is a gorgeous taupe with holographic gold flecks that remind us of McQueen's Fall/Winter 2006 show, featuring Kate Moss' hologram floating ethereally on the stage.

"Bumster" brings us back to the F/W 1996 show and his trend-spawning low rise pant.  Plumbers everywhere feel vindicated.

What do you think of these colours?

Prefer the lilac over the yellow for my skin tone, however love both colors.

"All Hail McQueen" sounds really interesting, I'll have to see it in person! "Bumster" isn't something I would normally wear but it's one of those colours that I want to try out because it's so different! I also think the name is really cute!

I like them both quite a bit. I saw Butter nail polishes for the first time at a salon and loved the look of them. These are really premium polishes. Made me want to buy them even though I have plenty of colours in my stash!
