The perfect prize for the yummy mummy in you

My friend Donna left the mall today hopeless. With only three days until Christmas, she spent the entire afternoon trying to locate the one gift she had in mind for her mom: an apron. She searched Sears, rummaged around the Bay and investigated Williams-Sonoma, but had no luck.

"You should have told me sooner," I said.

I had known the answer to her question all along: Domistyle Aprons.

Domistyle is a line of aprons that are practical for the kitchen and stylish for the silhouette. It was started in 2003 by fashionista friends Jessica Gedge and Vanessa Lee when they hosted a party wearing these cute aprons that they had fabricated themselves, and received such positive feedback about them that they decided to launch the line.

Each apron features a hand-drawn image that is silk screened onto a polyester-cotton twill. Each displays an embroidered message along the top like "Gourmet Goddess" or "Will Cook for Shoes." I think "Yummy Mummy" would be perfect for Donna's mom.

To find out where to purchase these flirty finds, visit Domistyle's website.
