The Style Collective Goes Shoe Shopping (and more)
But first, a word on shoes (gotta have our priorities straight, no?):
I Want-I Got is talking up the Charlotte Olympia Spring/Summer 2011 collection and particularly likes the wedges. We couldn't agree more - the sequin and fishnet patterns are eyecatching!
I'm The It Girl is all about colour blocking done right, and these Pour La Victoire 'Cypris' slingbacks are perfect examples.
Over to Style House, where the chatter is on kiddie Converses. I need to go shopping immediately.
After all that shopping, we need a hearty Tortilla soup and think Coco & Lowe's recipe will hit the spot perfectly.
And since we're momentarily on the topic of orangey hues...
... Beauty Editor's checking out New York's Fall/Winter 2011 beauty trends. We're thinking that while this might look good on the runway, don't try this orange eyeshadow look at home kids. Agreed?
Check out more weekly amazingness from our other Style Collective buds Beauty Geeks, Gifted, Well.ca, At Home with Kim Vallee, and Sweet Potato Chronicles

I too think that these models look nice with the orange eyes... but no one on the street could possibly pull it off. The natural light alone would kill the look I think.
Until I saw those wedges on I Want I Got, I was completely over that shoe type. Those, I would love to wear! Also loving the shoes from It Girl.
I am loving the make-up look actually. (Not for everyday obviously, and not for everybody either). I think it was beautifully done on those two models.
Not a fan of the orange eyes, totally a fan of the tortilla soup
