This Week's Mail
I occasionally enjoy sharing emails we get that has been submitted through the "Contact Us" on ChickAdvisor if it's funny or creepy. Last week it was creepy. This week it's funny and I'm hoping that by posting this it will shed some understanding on what it is exactly we do.
Some people seem to think we are manufacturers or confuse us with the brands they use. I'm not sure why. If I read a hotel review on TripAdvisor, I wouldn't email TripAdvisor after my vacation and tell them that the towels weren't fluffy enough or their hotel staff not friendly enough since they don't have either of those things. They are a website and their job is to facilitate peer recommendations and that is all. That is the same with us. We do not manufacture or sell any products. we are not affiliated with any brands and though we do have advertisers (who we love dearly), we are not responsible for their products.
I'd love to help these people but I have no idea what they are talking about. Behold this week's mail:
"I am on my third can of your --- Flexihold hairspray and the cap sprays everywhere or not at all. I run hot water over it and use tiny scissors to keep it clean. This is frustrating as I throw out over half the bottle everytime. I could not receipts, so Walmart would not exchange it. Just wanted to make you aware. I have used this produc since it came out on the market. Thanks."
--- Kitchener, Ontario
"Is there some way to have less cord on my cabinet?"
--- Vancouver, BC
"Is there any soy at all in your --- sensitive deoderant? I am very allergic and need to know before I can use it. Thanks."
--- Vancouver, BC
"I would like to know in skin lotion there is lecithin it is of animal or plant product."
--- Mississauga, ON
