Tip Tuesday: White Monochrome + Pop of Colour For Summer
The monochromatic head-to-toe white look is one of the hottest looks for spring and summer. It's fresh, modern and young. There's a fabulous, understated simplicity in monochrome outfits that makes them instantly chic.
Designers like Alexander Wang have primed all white to become one of the trendiest looks this season. Check out how they do it:

This summer, we love the idea of doing all white but with a little twist. A pop of bold colour in a shoe or bag or even a statement necklace brings everything together for a sophisticated, high fashion look.
Here are three white + colour pop combos we love:
Tip: For a feminine feel, try pastel for an accent piece.
1. Zara Long Seamed Blazer (C$139.00)
2. Joe Fresh Leather School Bag (C$99.00)
3. Gap Slim Cropped Pant (C$59.95)
Tip: Bring your neons from last summer into the next by pairing them with crisp whites and neutrals.
1. Closed White Pedal Star Pants (UK$152.00)
2. Material Girl Killoy Pumps (C$59.00)
3. ASOS Sleeveless Boyfriend Shirt With Bib Detail And Split Back (C$52.22)
Tip: When wearing all white, keep metallics to a minimum and in the same family.
1. Mango Metal Plate Dress (C$99.99)
2. Steven Mikka (US$89.00)
3. Express Studded Zip Front Wristlet (C$34.90)

I love white, especially in the warm months.
I really like the entire second look, and the pastel bag in the first. I wish I wasn't such a spiller! Me and white do not get along...
I love this style! It's very chic and easy to assemble, kind of no-nonsense.
I like #1 the best because the pastel keeps the look so clean and fresh, but #2 is probably more my style. I keep trying to buy neutral accessories but always end up with louder colours after all. I would absolutely go for those pants but I've never met a white article of clothing I didn't irreversibly stain within 5 minutes of dressing myself. White on me is just not meant to be I suppose.
