Today's Mail: Body Shop Says No to Trafficking
For the second year in a row, The Body Shop is taking part in the Stop Sex Trafficking of Children & Young People 2010 campaign.
They will be raising funds through the sale of the Soft Hands Kind Heart Cream. It retails for $7-10 (available in 2 sizes), and about $5 from each purchase will go to Beyond Borders to help change the lives of millions of young people.
A second initiative is their new reusable Bag for Life tote, $5. The proceeds from the tote bag will go to the Somaly Mam Foundation to support rehabilitation and support services in Cambodia.
On the environmental front, The Body Shop continues to help our environment with the launch of their new eco-conscious hair care line. Rainforest Moisture includes shampoo and hair butter for dry hair - but skips the parabens, sulphates and other nasties.
Will you be picking up the hand cream or tote bag?
