Today's mail brought us Schwarzkopf BC Time Restore products that are meant to revamp mature and fragile hair. The line features Shampoo ($15.95) and Conditioner ($16.95) to strengthen and support ageing hair. To illuminate lacklustre locks, there's the Satin Spray ($16.95), Shine Spray ($16.95), and the rinse out Time Restore Treatment ($25.95).

We also received a RAINCRY Ceramic Brush (from $54.95) that I'm eager to test out. It's made with boar bristles and ceramic panels that are supposed to smooth hair in the same way a straightening iron does and speed drying.

All products will be available in salons July 2010.

With all the fuss about anti-aging skin care, aging hair tends to get neglected. But it is necessary? We can't decide whether we think anti-aging hair care is really any different from products for damaged hair (for any age). What do you think?
