Top 20 Online Shopping Sites
Fact #1: I love shopping.
Fact #2: I love getting a great deal.
Fact #3: I hate crowds.
Malls (especially on Boxing Day, nay, Week) are places of craziness that I avoid. The line ups and packed stores are too daunting. Just the thought of waiting in a hot store with my bulky winter jacket makes me cringe.
Like all of life's issues, the Internet has a solution. Thank goodness for online shopping. Gone are the days where you would have to get up early, get dressed and trek down to find good parking. I do all my shopping from the comfort of my bed in PJs and the stores are open 24/7!
If you're like me, you're making lists and planning your online shopping haul to take advantage of sales and clearance. So we thought we'd help you out by giving you some of our favourite sites to hit up. For Canada I've only used well.ca and Chapters from that list. I have to say that Amazon.ca is wayyyyy better than Chapters' site (They almost always have the same prices for books, except that you have to be a member with Chapters to get that price). Plus amazon has movies, baby stuff, and so much more! Both have free shipping on orders over $25. I just wish Amazon.ca was as good as their .com site, which is crazyy amazing! Well.ca was alright. I used it when they had a great sale on prenatal vitamins, but other than that I don't really find their prices all that great. I'm still really iffy about shopping online for clothes since you can't try them on first and you usually have to pay shipping (in Canada at least...US always seems to have free shipping).
I love Free People, but I prefer to shop in-store because a lot of their clothes are hit or miss. I also like Forever 21 and I prefer shopping online because there is just too much stuff to be able to see it all in store. I also like Modcloth.com.
I've shopped at well.ca for a few years now. They take pay pal and I've even received my order the very next day. It usually is three days, but sometimes you get lucky and get your order faster. I agree with KatelynRose 1984, I've never bought clothing or shoes on line because I'm always worried they won't be the same as it looks on line, or it won't fit. Then you have the hassle of returning it.
I LOVE Amazon. For clothes I have used Oasap.com and Romwe.com too.
I love online shopping for products, but I'd rather purchase shoes & clothing in store - as I have to see them in person, or try them on before buying.. Much easier than doing the shipping thing! |
