Sheer fabrics took the form of buttoned blouses and ruffled dresses, adorned with peekaboo appliqués, satin paneling or as some designers envisioned, spare and revealing. Black prevailed, making the look decidedly more evening than office, though with its lack of coverage the colour isn't the only reason you'd be more likely to wear these when the lights are at their lowest.

![]() | I have a lavender sheer blouse from BCBG that I got last year but I just can't seem to find the right time to wear it. I think it loses the look when you put a tank underneath but I don't think I'm ballsy enough to wear it with just a bra underneath. Any suggestions? Maybe a nude coloured tank? |

![]() | For this kind of style, I'm partial to the more flowy look like Izma's version. I've worn sheers before and maybe I should have bought a better quality; I found they were uncomfortable to wear so close to the skin - itchy, sweaty, etc. A little more airflow below would make all the difference for me! |
