Trending in Fashion: Nail Armour Rings

Posted by Alexandra C. | Wednesday May 9, 201255 comments

I first caught wind of the nail armour ring trend a few months back and still to this day, I can't decide how I feel about it. So, in this edition of 'Trending in Fashion', I'm going to need your help.

The nail rings intrigue and confuse me at the same time. Sometimes, I see one on a very fashion forward lady and I can't help but swoon over how unique and fierce it looks. While other times, I can't help but wonder if they have problems accomplishing their daily tasks. I mean, how is one supposed to wash dishes, wash their hair or (not to be gross but) go to the washroom with one on?

Perhaps this is a similar case to that of the caviar mani. Sure, it's fun and cool to look at but seriously, real life folks aren't going to be flaunting them anytime soon.

If these do become available at my nearby mall, I have a feeling that I will be tempted to pick one up! Call me a fashion victim but I love trying out new, out of this world looks and why not? Fashion should be fun. If it isn't, you're not doing it right.

So, chicks help me solve this fashion mystery. How do you feel about the nail armour ring? Is this a passing fad or a more lasting trend? Would you ever rock one?

So thimbles are in style this year? Despite my rage for these at the moment I will admitt to being curious....
It's a revamped thimble, wow. It's going to take me a while to get over this like temp lip tattoos....
Never tried that though, scared me.
If I see a cute thimble kicking around I'll grab one and give it a shot, oh the mocking. My husband will have a blast with this.

I think they are different & cool but I personally wouldn't rock one. I do not see this fad lasting long .. passing fad for sure.

For the most part no, but I really like the more delicate floral on shown and the last one. I'd definitely be up to trying it if I could find one like those.

I want so bad! This is good for someone who has a damaged nail too other than just a cool fashion statement

I would wear them, but only on one finger. I like the simple ones best.since we are on the subject of
nails ..I hate the pointy finger nails.
