Trending in Fashion: Would You Wear Overalls?

Gals, something weird is happening. Something that hasn't happened since the 90's. Overalls are coming back into style. (Gasp!)

It started last fall 2012, but designers keep trying to make overalls happen. They've even been in the spring/summer collections for 2013:

They've even expanded into a pinafore/jumper style, as seen at Jason Wu (left) and Ruffian (right).

I don't know about you chicks, but I haven't sported a pair of overalls since I was 11. And even then I was pushing the coolness boundaries.

But, maybe, somehow, it kind of works now?

Street style chicsters have been experimenting with the overall look and I don't know if there's something wrong with me, but they're kind of convincing...
