Try These Scent-sational Perfumes

I love fragrances. I've been wearing perfume since I received my first bottle of Ralph Lauren, Ralph and I coveted it, using only the teensiest amounts at a time. I actually still have some left. Now, while I love the classic fragrances, I can't tell you how bored I get of smelling the same scent on every other person on the street. What I love about perfumes is that they become a signature scent for each individual. Scents should be unique, just like you are! Which is why I've been searching for indie fragrances, little known brands and new and interesting ways to get my scent on.

Here are a few fabulous scents and scent-sational ideas that you've probably never thought of trying:

1. Cinabre by Maria Candida Gentile Eau De Parfum (US$185.00)

2. Clean Skin Eau de Parfum Spray (C$74.00)

3. Demeter Fragrance Library in Laundromat (U$20.00)

4. Rich Hippie Devotion Organic Perfume (US265.00)

5. Majda Bekkal J’ai Fait Un Reve Elle by Majda Bekkali (US$125.00)

6. Kiehl's Fig Leaf & Sage - Aromatic Mist (C$62.00): I'm not usually one to go for gourmand smells but this rich fragrance has so much sweetness and spiciness it's like a trip to the Mediterranean.

7. Try a men's cologne: I know it sounds bizarre but sometimes a men's cologne with your body chemistry makes for a strong, musky but really nice smell. I'm actually a fan of Playboy VIP Fragrance (US$14.84). I know what you're thinking, but it`s actually a really great scent for a ladies night out.

8. Lush Sikkim Girls (C$19.95 - $49.95): I've mentioned this one before, but I love it so much I had to talk about it again. It's an essential oil and has a gorgeous spicy, warm smell.

What's your favourite fragrance?

The Fresh one was LTE so I hoarded from eBay! oh yeah and this place in Ireland has great stuff, Ilaun is awesome and I'm out... http://www.burrenperfumery.com/products/perfumes/

I am like @gl0ss but I have slowed down purchasing lately because my coworker has a scent allergy - boo.

I also have lots of misses that smelled great in the store that I can't bear to wear - SHEwood Dsquared2 anyone?

I agree with @lovelydays, the Laundromat one would be interesting to test but not sure if I'd like to wear it as my perfume

I'm curious to smell the Laundromat one... I love the smell of fresh linens and clean laundry, although I'm not sure I would buy it in perfume form...
