We Love Fridays: Cole Haan 'Chelsea' Comfort Heels
We at ChickAdvisor love a great heel. They make our legs look long and lean and they give our derrières a bit of a lift; we even walk better when we wear them! But heels can put a serious cramp in our style (emphasis on the cramp). Walking around all day in heels is tough! It's enough to make a lady give 'em up all together and stick to trusty old ballerina flats!
Which is why I was so excited to hear about Cole Haan's collab with Nike that has brought us the 'Chelsea'. The Chelsea pump has Nike Air technology built in for support and suede and rubber soles for extra traction. There's no skimping on style either. They come in a low pump in various colours of patent leather, a higher pump in the similar style, open toe pumps for a flirty look and my favourite: the double platform pump!
They're a bit pricey: between US$298.00 - $428.00. But if you're going to buy one pair of awesome pumps this year, shouldn't they be a pair that you're head over heels (excuse the pun) in love with? And ones that you have no problem wearing everyday?
Are you a flats or heels kind of gal?

I love heels but I've never been able to walk in them for long. So really if I had to choose I'm a mid-heel boots kinda gal. If I had the extra $ to spare I definitely would look into getting a pair from this brand. It just makes sense to spend money on a pair of heels that I can actually wear. Hmm...maybe next year?
I am so looking for these. I had a bad accident a few years ago that really damaged my back and knee. Between the pain of wearing them all day and being scared to snag a crack in the sidewalk causing me to further injure myself I had retired my beautiful heels. I'm super excited to see how different these will be. Thank you!
Love the idea of comfort in heels but pricey considering shoes can go out of style rather fast. Not sure I would want to pay that. I only wear heels occasionally
Those red heels are to die for. Love them!!

I'm short, so I should wear heels more often, but I usually opt for the comfort of flats unless I'm going out to a club or to a special occasion. I don't think I'd ever pay that much for any pair of shoes, especially since they don't sound as though they'd really be all that much more comfortable.
I love heels, but I'm already pretty tall so I feel weird when i wear them, but I'm working on not caring because I didn't chose to be tall. Besides there's no rule that short women can't wear flats so I shouldn't care about wearing heels and being tall.
I like both! | |
My lower back thinks I'm a flats kind of girl, but as for the rest of me it's heels all the way! I love those orange pumps.
I am a flats type of gal because I am tall enough already. And I don't think I would spend that much for a heel if I didn't absolutely love them. Maybe not even then--they'd have to go on my birthday wishlist. |
