We Love Fridays: Deborah Lippman Nail Lacquers
Every month or so, I start obsessing over a specific product. Usually, it's an insanely luxe and covetable item that I know I can't afford but it's just oh-so gorgeous and I can't help but ogle picture upon picture of it. My pinterest account can attest to this fact.
A while back the object of my affection was the Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette and last month it was the Clairsonic Skincare Brush. This Friday, I've got my eye on some Deborah Lippman polishes. Here's why:
(clockwise from top left) Ray of Light, Sweet Dreams, Sugar Daddy, Private Dancer, Mermaid's Dream, On The Beach, Swagga Like Us
1. The Colours
True story: I've actually purchased the same colour of hot pink polish, in different brands, about four times. When it comes to Deborah Lippman though, it seems like colour replication never happens. They're always coming out with new, innovative colours and hues so they always look fresh and never dated.
2. The Names
I love a good nail polish name, who doesn't right? There's nothing quite as fun as when someone asks you what colour it is that you're wearing and you get to proudly say, 'Swagga Like Us of course'.
3. The Bottles
There is something so special and fancy about having beauty products with pretty packaging. I just love seeing them on my dresser, all wrapped up nicely and cute! I like to think that the Deborah Lippman polishes with their upscale, sleek design would look lovely on my vanity.
You can find more Deborah Lippman polishes for purchase over here. They range in price from US$16.00 to US$20.00. They're pricey for polish but, once in a while, I like to think it's okay to treat yourself and splurge a bit. You deserve it!
What do you think of these polishes? Which one is your favourite? Have you tried Deborah Lippman polishes before?
