We Love Fridays: New At Home Hair Removal Products To Try

You may remember from previous articles that I'm not a huge fan of shaving. It's time consuming, you get ingrown hairs and it never stops! Right after you shave, the next day it's all stubble, no smooth. It's enough to make you want to quit altogether.

Which is why I've always said that if I could afford any sort of cosmetic procedure, it would be laser hair removal. Unfortunately, finding that affordable hair removal is sort of like finding a unicorn.

Imagine my delight when I came across these at home, hair removal systems that, while initially pricey, are far less than going to a clinic because you don't need to pay for each session. Plus, at home laser hair removal - are we living in the future or what?!

How cool is it that you can permanently remove hair in the comfort of your own home? While I do have some reservations about trusting myself with this technological star trek looking device, I am totally on board for trying one of these out.

1. Tria Hair Removal Laser 4X (C$449.00)

2. Silkn' Flash & Go Permanent Hair Removal Device (C$299.00)

3. Tanda Me Elos Professional Hair Removal System (C$395.00)

What about you? What do you think of at home hair removal like this? Or do you think you'll stick with razors and waxing?

New products for the hair removal are the ones that one must try out, but make sure that they are the reputed ones.

I have been waxing for years to the point where I have big patches on my legs where hair does not grow anymore. When the hair does grow back (three months later), it comes in soft not stubbly. Laser treatment at home for that price is a lot of money if it does not work. Anything that works good will stay on the market and come down in price, if you can wait it out until then you may save yourself aggravation, dermatitis and money.

I've always just used a razor and shaving cream, I have not even ever waxed before, I guess I'm afraid that it's going to hurt. I would definitely be up for trying out laser hair removal at home though. I just wish they weren't so expensive, I think I would have a hard time justifying the expense right now.

I would totally try this out... except for the expense, I'm not sure if they would be adequately effective. And since you can't really tell if its working until you do it and wait though 2 hair growth cycles, (treat every 6 weeks x 2) ... it would probably be too late to return them. Got my upper lip done professionally (elos laser) 4 years ago (6 treatments) and I get just a few hairs now. It was totally worth it!

One day I'll have enough extra money to buy an at-home laser system. For now, looks like I'm sticking with razors.

I would love to try one of these products but I'm a little leery about spending that kind of money and not knowing if they're 100% effective.

I like shaving... yup, crazy but true. Laser hair removal scares me slightly.
