Wedding Wednesday: 10 Wedding Favour Ideas

As someone who has been to their fair share of weddings, I have it on good authority that wedding favours usually bite the big one.

Due to my Italian heritage, I've mostly been a guest at Italian weddings and therefore, I have a large collection of useless ceramic figurines. We call them "bombonieres". Does anyone really need a pastel coloured rose with their second cousin and her new husband's name engraved on it?

Nope.

With wedding season upon us and with the threat of this collection growing even larger, I thought it would be useful to put together a few wedding favours that your guests and wedding party would actually enjoy receiving. Practical, unique and thoughtful items that they'll cherish.

I really like all of these idea's, but I love the plants idea. My neighbour gave away little starter pine tree's at his wedding, witch I thought was a great as long as you didn't live in an apartment. My tree is over five feet tall now and I'll never forget where it came from.

I really think these are cute. Although the majority of couple's these days are providing "edible" favours for their guests, I personally like something that I can bring home - and get use out of. Plus, it's also a nice memory to have in the house. The cutting board is super cute, and I love the plants.
