Couture Carrie pulls a few sizzling looks from the Spring/Summer 2011 shows and asks - do you love a long skirt for spring?
DaFashionista, on the other hand, combed the shops last weekend for a pleated pleather skirt and polka dotted top combo from her lust list.
ImABeautyGeek accidentally-on-purpose nipped into Browns to goggle at Marc Jacobs whimsical flats (yeah, we know the feeling).
Under the category of "Things I Don't Remotely Need But Now Suddenly Very Much Want To Have" shall now be placed these kitschy-cute birch coasters (left) featured by Gifted in the shape of the city of Toronto (other cities also available).
Then Kim Vallee introduced us to this pineapple corer/peeler/slicer doomahickey (right) which, while admittedly a one-purpose tool, is something I now really need want.

On taller women I think it's quite stunning (as long as the cut of the skirt is flattering to their body shape), but more petite women should definitely steer clear.
I'm still having a hard time accepting this lower-than-the-knee skirt trend. I just don't think it is flattering...
I am so in love with the kitty Marc flats! Really *need* that pineapple corer too<3
I adore those pleated skirts! I don't think I'd splurge though - it feels flash-in-the-pan trendy to me. Long swishy skirts are classic, but I'm not tall enough to pull that off. Make me look Amish, I think.
I love the leather skirts and the Marc Jacobs flats.
Gorgeous post! | |
The leather skirts are fun, I've tried on a few at various stores but I've never had the guts to actually purchase on.
I really like the pleated leather skirts DaFashionista found - a welcome change from the skin-tight leather skirts popular last year.
That pineapple contraption is pretty cool; I could actually see myself getting some use out of it. |
