We got several pairs of lace tights sent to the office a while back, and after some deliberation, we decided to give it a try. There is quite a bit of buzz going around about lace, and though normally thought to be a fall trend, we at ChickAdvisor decided to try to make this wearable for Summer too!

Lace stockings are not a particularly new trend. Day by day, more celebrities are pairing it either with a casual or business chic look.

Olivia Palermo plays with a feminine details that have a rock n' roll edge for this look. This outfit could be overwhelming with all the details going on but she keeps it in check but going for basic black and white. Her attitude shines through with a leather blazer and black lace but kept feminine with a ruffle collar and a rhinestone pin. 
 
Shanae Grimes wears black lace tights with a plaid shirt and suede boots. This super casual look appears more original and creative with the lace, rather than if it were to be worn with plain leggings.

Whitney Port wears pale lace leggings with a pink hue and paired with ballet flats and a great coat, she hits the streets. Her oversized scarf is super cozy but with all the neutrals in the outfit, balancing it out with a turquoise pop of colour is a good move. 

Is this trend exclusive to celebrities only? Nope!

Alexandra, Tammy and I show you different looks we put together with the lace tights. 

I'm wearing pale pink ones, much like Whitney's, in my case though, I paired it with a black skintight dress, and black oxford-like shoes. Perfect for a night out, in my opinion! 

Alexandra wears white, with a light denim shirt. She played lace on lace, by adding a lace skirt to her ensemble. This up's her creative style ten-fold!

Tammy wears a short purple dress and pairs her opaque lace tights with some black ballet flats. I think this may be the go-to style for any girl who is looking for a simple, yet stylish look.
