Tell us about you!

I am the Co-Founder of ChickAdvisor and the sleep deprived mother of a two year old and a four month old.  

That being said, faking a fresh face has never been more important. If you were to see me au naturel, I'd probably either scare you, or you'd think I was a good 10 years older than I actually am (which is 25, obviously) . So I take my regimen really seriously.

What do you wash your face with? What moisturizer do you use?



I wash my face with Neutrogena Ultra Gentle Daily Cleanser  and moisturize with Origins A Perfect World Age Defense Moisturizer with White Tea SPF 25.

Describe your average morning makeup routine, from the first thing you put on, to the last.



There are many layers to my face.  After you hit 30, it takes a lot more effort to look hot, Sisters!  In addition to the products above, I use SkinCeuticals AOX Eye Gel and SkinCeuticals C E Ferulic.  For foundation, if I've slept more than five consecutive hours in a night, I can get away with just SkinCeuticals (I swear they're not paying me) Physical Fusion UV Defense SPF 50. If not, I bring out the big guns with Make Up For Ever Face & Body Liquid Makeup. 



I fill in my brows (which have suffered years of over-plucking) with a pencil I got from EyeLove, a local brow shop here in Toronto.  I curl my lashes with a $1 curler from E.L.F, and attempt a cat eye with Marc Jacobs Magic Marc'er Precision Pen.  I follow this with a swipe or three of mascara, which is presently a toss up between Maybelline the Falsies Big Eyes, Diorshow Extase and Benefit's They're Real. If I'm feeling fancy, I'll use eyeshadow, which is usually a combination of colours from my Hello Kitty Memoirs of a Kitty Palette (be honest - am I too old for H.C?).  For blush, I love the ones in that same Hello Kitty Palette.  On my lips, I'm either wearing tarte LipSurgence Lip Luster in glitzy, which is a beautiful neutral or Bite Lipstick in Vidal. Hint to new moms: I have learned it is not a good idea to wear bold lips with a three month old who likes to paw your face.

If you need to get foxy in seconds, what is the one product you reach for?

If I can only choose one product to perk me up in seconds, it's one of the mascaras I mentioned.  There is nothing foxier than a good set of lashes.
