I am the beauty director at FASHION and am currently living in Toronto (east side, yo!) with my husband John and our two kids, Isla and Holden.

What do you wash your face with? What moisturizer do you use?


Depends what I have on hand, but generally I turn to Tata Harper Regenerating Cleanser and Dermalogica Tri-Active Cleanser. To moisturize, I spritz my face with a mist (I like Tata Harper's Hydrating Floral Essence and Juice Beauty Hydrating Mist). Depending on what I happen to reach for next, I'll apply a hydrating serum or a facial oil.

Describe your average morning makeup routine, from the first thing you put on, to the last.

 
After I moisturize, I apply a few drops of SkinCeuticals Phloretin CF, let that absorb a bit, then apply some Jurlique Herbal Recovery Eye Cream as well as a mineral sunscreen of at least SPF 30. I then move onto the "concealing process" using RMS "un" cover-up around the eyes and a bit of Dr Jart Black Label Detox BB Beauty Balm around the nose and chin for additional coverage. If I find some localized areas need concealing, I'll apply Physician's Formula Mineral Wear Talc Free Mineral Airbrushing Pressed Powder using a small brush.

I fill in my brows with Chanel Les Sourcils Sculpting Eyebrow Pencil in "Noir Cendre"—it's a trifecta of amazingness: between the powdery texture, the inclusion of a spoolie brush on the end and the fact that it's for dark hair but not too much of a brown colour. If I'm not feeling too lazy, I'll curl my lashes (Shu Uemura all the way) and maybe even apply a coat of my Clinique High Impact Extreme Volume Mascara. To seal the deal, I'll throw on some Burt's Bees Tinted Lip Balm in "Sweet Violet."

If you need to get foxy in seconds, what is the one product you reach for?


Always a berry lip. I just made my own shade at Bite Beauty's custom lab in Soho last week. I use that in rotation with Clinique Chubby Stick Intense in "Grandest Grape."
