Would You Try: The Sloppy Lazy Chic Trend

Major fashion news: being a slob is now cool.

Seriously. Sloppy, disheveled, hot mess is now a style. And, I'm kind of happy about it. I mean, if I can be comfy and lounge around and still be considered trendy, then I'm a happy (albeit lazy) camper!

Proving that slob = cool, designers showed loose fitting, draping clothes. Paying an homage to grunge (the ultimate lazy fashion), there was plaid, plaid and more plaid on the runway. Not to mention the use of updated, luxurious flip flops.

While I was never a sweatpants kinda gal, I will say that patterns, prints, pretty details and more upscale fabrics make the styles hobo chic instead of simply hobo.

Celebrities have embraced the laid back, lazy attitude as well.

Like what you see? Think you might like to inject some of the 'don't care' attitude into your wardrobe? Try these on for size:

1. Gap 1969 Sexy Boyfriend Jeans (C$79.95)

2. Joe Fresh Printed PJ Pant (C$29.00)

3. Wilfred Lezark Shorts (C$95.00)

4. Joe Fresh Chambray Pant (C$29.00)

5. Forever 21 High-Waisted Harem Pants (C$23.80)

6. Wilfred Trentini T-Shirt (C$50.00)

7. Zara Combination Checked Sweater (C$35.99, on sale)

8. Brandy Melville Finn Knit (US$55.00)

9. Wildfox Seeing Star Sweater (C$322.92)

What do you think of this trend? Would you try it?

I disagree, It all depends how you wear them. you dont have to dress like a slob,
a lot of them are dress pants too. I have them also.
To each her/his own.

I don't think it's sloppy its whatever you are comfortable in is what matters. Other peoples opinions should not matter!

I didn't know I was so on point with my around the house laziness! Not sure if this would slide in the "real world".

I wouldn't try this, but some of these girls can really pull it off and look great! I mean it's awesome that you can look good and be comfy but it's not for me.

I don't like this look and I'm a heavier girl so I would look sooo awful in this!

I hope anyone who buys into this fashion trend doesn't expect to actually look good or fashionable...

I have to admit - I'm only a fan of this look if you're not leaving the house. I really don't think it looks good in public.

I can't say that I could bring myself to go out in public looking like I just roll out of bed... The funniest I think is actually see them pair their sloppy outfits with heels....lol!
