Would You Wear: Uggs On Your Wedding Day?
Love 'em or hate 'em, I think we can all agree that Uggs, at the very least, are a comfortable pair of shoes. While we all may not enjoy the look of them, they do make for a cozy slip-on. But would you ever wear them to a wedding, more specifically, your wedding?
Most likely, you're reading this now with quite the quizzical look on your face: "Um, excuse me, did you just say, wedding?". Well, yes I did because that's exactly what the Ugg company wants you to do. They have created a bridal collection full of furs, sparkles and sequins for your special day!
Ugg Bailey Bling I Do! (US$225.00)
Ugg Fluff Flip Flop I Do! (US$80)
Ugg Sparkles I Do! (US$190.00)
Now, I'm not sure if these are geared more towards the actual ceremony or as an alternative, comfier option for the reception but either way, I have to say I am not a fan. I am all for comfort but a wedding day is a formal occasion and I think we can all do a little better.
What do you think? Would you ever wear something like this?

no way!but then again I hate uggs! but still I never would think for a second about wearing uggs for anything formal!
Noooooooooo! Will this Uggs madness ever end!?!?!?
It would all depend on the style and length of the dress. If I could put these on without being able to see them I would for sure. I mean I would definitely have the most beautiful pair of heels I could find on when the garter is being removed, and other parts. But I love Uggs and the comfort they provide, it's like getting into a warm bath on a cold day.I love style, but I don't want sore feet on my wedding day, it's a long day and my feet would love me for it.They would just have to be glammed up to my taste, with originality, but I have always thought I would do this. Comfortable and cozy !!
Definately not | |
I don't like that they used my name (Ugg Bailey Bling I Do!) can I sue? Lol, but seriously? None of those are cute. The last ones maybe, if you're a six year old.
That is extremely weird... I would have never thought of Uggs as "formal" hahahah! I'll pass on those shoes for my wedding day. I'd prefer not to be made fun of!
Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!
Definetly NOT!! I do love those slippers though... I'd wear them around the house but definetly not to my wedding!!!!
Probably not! I don't see why women can't just stick it out in a pair of cute flats for a few hours...but each to their own! :)
I would probably wear them before the ceremony while getting ready and after the reception as my feel will probably be killing me. Not something to wear under your dress or during your dinner and reception. |
