Yay or Nay: Katy Perry's Sheer Outfit
Ummmm, Katy, I don't know how to say this but, uh, you forgot to put on your pants this morning.
Ms. Katy Perry was recently spotted (single and ready to mingle!) at Paris Fashion Week wearing an outfit, that literally leaves me speechless. I don't know what words to use to describe this outfit, because it is just so bizarre.
I think this outfit has every single trend incorporated into it. There's leather, sheer, drawstrings, mullet hemlines, eyelets and of course, last not least, booty shorts.
My one question for Ms. Perry is: aren't you cold?
What do you think of this outfit? Should we give her kudos for her fashion bravery? Is this a yay or nay?

I think what bothers me most about this pic is the blue in her hair! I get wanting to be completely different, but there's something about the dyes she uses that never suit her. Like they're too dull or something. Her stylist never gets the roots dyed properly *shrugs*. I love the cut of her bob though!! I've been wanting something similar, just add a few bangs to it... The dress is an interesting choice, but I think it would have been much better as a summer dress though, when there are actual leaves on those trees in the background and the people surrounding her aren't wearing thick jackets/sweaters, etc. She's covering up much more than she would in a bathing suit (and yes, I know most people would not wear a bathing suit to a function, unless it was a pool party...), so I really think this outfit would have looked better if she waited a couple months for everyone else to get with the warmer-weather program. | |
