Yay or Nay: Lea Michele's Sheer Dress and Corset

Lea Michele is a bonafide hottie. Not only is she a hottie but she's talented and she seems like (I am basing this on pure speculation) a genuinely nice person. So why on Earth she felt she had to wear this outfit and be this tanned, I really don't know. Are you compensating for something Lea?

Lea walked the red carpet at the Elle Women in Hollywood event in a one piece lace body suit corset type thing with a sheer striped maxi dress over top. Adding to the effect was an overtan and nude lips combo.

I guess we can go the 'avant garde' route here and say she was dressing the part for the Elle Women in Hollywood event but, Lea, you still have some explaining to do (re: tan).

I'm just so confused about this outfit. If you're going to go with a corset body suit, does it make sense to layer it with a sheer long sleeve, floor length and high neckline dress? It's a lot and not enough skin all at the same time. At least the shoes, though basic, are cute.

I think that what I take most issue with here is the makeup. She seems overly bronzed and contoured to me. The eyes are pretty but that lipstick is not doing it for me. Way too pale!

What do you think of this outfit and makeup? Is it a yay or a nay? Leave your vote down below by October 28th and you could win!

Nay!! The only thing that looks decent is her eye makeup. The outfit is horrible and ghe lipstick makes her look like a corpse. If she had to wear that dreadful outfit, she should have opted for an elegant red lipstick to make it look more classic and glamorous.

It's all one big nay!! The lips make her look dried up and washed out even with all that bronzer. It may be soon for some, but I think the ombre trend on hair is already over... I liked it for a little while, but it's already over done, and starting to look ugly. I don't even want to touch on the outfit, because anyone with eyes can see it's horrifying and does not suit her. And the shoes make her feet look like duck feet.

Nay. Too try-hard. These sheer overlays are just ugly (and not because I don't have the body to pull these looks off). It's just an awful mash-up of 50's glam-grandma-frock (high necks make me feel claustrophobic), and 2000's starlet-showgirl.
